Welcome to the Women's Council of Greater Baton Rouge.

We are a diverse group of women and organizations committed assisting women in the Greater Baton Rouge area by providing a forum to discuss issues that are especially important to the women in our community.

We are off to a great start as we plan our events for the coming year.

In late Spring the Women's Council of Greater Baton Rouge will present its fourth annual Silver Magnolia Award to trailblazing area women whose lifelong service activities have had a positive impact on our community. In late September we will kick off our sixth annual Women's Week with a great city-wide luncheon, followed by a busy week of activities. You will have an opportunity to participate in programs ranging from cooking classes to lectures on health issues to learning how to quilt to financial planning. The possibilities are endless!
